The Power of Team Giving benefits Band Together and the Alliance Medical Ministry
TRIANGLE AREA, NC – Twongo designated Band Together as an April nonprofit partner. In recognition of the partnership Twongo helped sell tickets for Band Together’s benefit concert with Third Eye Blind in support of the Alliance Medical Ministry. Band Together’s mission is to raise funds and awareness for select charities through events that showcase and support musical talent. This year they chose Alliance Medical Ministry for their benefactor. Alliance Medical Ministry (AMM) is a faith-led non-profit organization whose mission is to serve working uninsured adults of Wake County in need of affordable health care. In addition to the proceeds raised by the Power of Team Giving promotion, Twongo will donate a portion of April revenues to Band Together.
The Power of Team Giving benefits Michael J. Gressman Brain Tumor Research Fund
TRIANGLE AREA, NC – Twongo designated Michael J. Gressman Brain Tumor Research Fund as a November nonprofit parter. In recognition of the partnership Twongo dedicated Thanksgiving Day to the Michael J. Gressman Brain Tumor Research Fund . The MJG Brain Tumor Research Fund is committed to increasing awareness and raising money for those inflicted with brain tumors, while providing HOPE and inspiration to all people along the way. In addition to the proceeds raised by the Power of Team Giving promotion, Twongo will donate a portion of November revenues to the Michael J. Gressman Brain Tumor Research Fund.
The Power of Team Giving benefits Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
TRIANGLE/EASTERN NC CHAPTER – Twongo designated Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as the nonprofit partner for November. In recognition of the partnership, Twongo dedicated World Diabetes Day Sunday November 14th to promote the various ways JDRF benefits local research for type 1 diabetes. In addition to the proceeds raised by the Power of Team Giving promotion, Twongo will donate a portion of November revenues to JDRF’s Triangle/Eastern NC Chapter.
The Power of Team Giving benefits United Way of the Greater Triangle
MORRISVILLE, NC – Twongo designated United Way as the nonprofit partner for October. In recognition of the partnership, Twongo dedicated Monday, October 3rd to promote the various ways United Way benefits our local community. In addition to the proceeds raised on the Power of Team Giving promotion, Twongo will donate a portion of October revenues to United Way of the Greater Triangle.
The Power of Team Giving Event for Kelowna’s Rotary Centre for the Arts
KELOWNA, BC – The Power of Team Giving is a fundraising event being held during the week of September 20-26, 2010 to raise funds for the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Twongo and participating sponsors, including Hannah’s Lounge & Grill, The Chopped Leaf, Beyond Wrapture Day Spas and Soda’s Gourmet Burgers & Fountain Shop, will donate revenue generated through Twongo.com/kelowna to help fund arts programs offered through the RCA. Twongo Kelowna donated over $9,000 to the Rotary Centre for the Arts through its Power of Team Giving promotion.
